Sarah & Chris ~ A Bath & Somerset Wedding

Sarah and Chris’ wedding was incredibly chic, stylish, full of character and really reflected their tastes. They both have impeccable style and I loved Sarah’s white trouser suit which was made especially for her by a Saville Row tailor. Gorgeous! During their wedding I remember thinking how wonderfully affectionate they are with each other; always holding hands, cuddling, and kissing. It was lovely to see.

The ceremony was held very early in the morning at the Roman Baths in Bath. If you wish to marry at the Roman Baths the ceremony has to take place before they open to the public. It is such an incredible place for a ceremony, and I really wanted to incorporate the beautiful character and architecture of the venue into Sarah and Chris’ photographs.

Following the ceremony, Sarah and Chris held a champagne breakfast in the Pump Room next door. Such a wonderful idea and a nice way to kick off the celebrations. Afterwards, guests entertained themselves around Bath for a few hours before heading to Babington House for the afternoon reception. The weather was beautiful and the atmosphere relaxed and full of laughter.

A big thank you to Sarah and Chris for inviting me to photograph their wedding. I am so happy you love your photos and I wish you all the best for your future together! xx

I started my coverage just before the ceremony as Sarah and Chris arrived.Just before the ceremony started, Sarah’s three lovely children came to see them! What an aisle to walk down!I think it was lovely how they walked down the aisle together.I love this moment between Sarah and her Dad.On to the champagne brekkie! This is Sarah and her daughter.Sarah and Chris headed off for some time on their own before the afternoon events kicked off. I love how he’s still covered in confetti!Babington House won me over immediately. I want to live there! It’s so calming and beautiful. The perfect spot for a wedding or a weekend away.We spent five minutes taking some quick portraits of Sarah and Chris. The cheese cake looked amazing. Sarah’s friends assembled it and decorated it with fruit. It looked too good to eat!Sarah had the genius idea of decorating the reception tables with oranges in earthenware pots. It was such a fantastic way of adding colour to the room, and looked wonderful.I think this little one is a bit angry here! These final images here really sum up the affection between Sarah and Chris and how lovely they are with each other.Feel free to leave some love for the happy couple! More wedding posts coming your way in the coming weeks! xx
